My fascination for old Norwegian advertisement mascots and different kinds of typography used in mid century advertising is something I often include in my works. In this project for Skogmo VGS, a school in Skien, Norway I built a racoon steel sculpture. The history behind the racoon is that it was used in 1950s advertising for a local Skien factory that produced washing-machines - Termolux Fabrikker. The racoon was a only used for a brief period of time until the factory was sold, and now it will work as a new school mascot. This project also includes a mural of an old advertisement starring the racoon.
